| Dear Family in Christ, What a wonderful week we have had! Just four more weeks and the building should be here! I am getting more and more excited as the days go by. Dad and I formed up part of the loading dock yesterday (the easiest part, we still have the sides to form!) and poured the concrete for it yesterday afternoon. It is obvious that I am not a concrete finisher, but it will do. After that we went to get the temporary power pole. That was a hoot! My truck bed with the tailgate down is only 7 feet long, but the pole was at least 16 feet long- Dad rode in the back of the truck sitting on the pole so it would not fall out- I drove 25-30 miles an hour all the way home! But we made it! A friend of a friend loaned the pole to us, so that saved us $300-- God is so good. Have a wonderful weekend, and thank you for all of your prayers for us... In Him, Jim |
