| Dear Friends and Family, Hello from a long overdue update; my computer has been acting weird for over the past month, and had to send it away to be looked at... It is back finally and in working order... Much has happened, and I will try and catch everyone up to date through this e-mail! I hope this finds you all well, I have missed being in better contact, I have had limited e-mail access... So look forward to being back better online with you all! We have a prayer request for you all- I (Tiffany) have grown up in FL, and my parents are on the central east coast, along with many other friends and family of Jim and I both live throughout FL; Please keep all of the folks in FL in prayer over this weekend as they make preparations to deal with this storm the best they can... Frances is a strong, large storm, and it will bring another set of damage to FL, already recovering from Charley. Please pray for safe evacuations, and for those who do stay in their homes, that God's hand will be with them through this. We have a family staying with us this weekend who had come up to assist us in the warehouse for a week getting things set up, they are from my "hometown" where my parents are, and it has been in that estimated window of landfall. Some of their family back home have evacuated; it is a difficult thing to be away for them at this time, please pray for them as well. Thank you also for your prayers for my father's surgery last month; he recovered well and is back to work; all procedures were fine... Thank you for your prayers for him... Again, I apologize for the late-ness in updates due to my computer... Moving to a ministry note, we are thrilled to again share that the warehouse is up, and thankfully that we are over the bridge with the electrical wiring; we should be having the final inspection in the building next week! Praise the Lord! We want to praise the Lord for the local pastor who gave so much of his time in assisting us with this part of the wiring. His help was a huge blessing. We also have gotten the pallets of toys in from across town, and with the help of our guest workers this week, have been able to organize and inventory what supplies we do have in house... We will be entering all this information into the computer, and are working to get supplies in from Ohio as well... What a blessing! They have been a huge help out there this week helping get through sorting through what we have moved into this new building... Please check out the website for updates: www.missionaryservicefellowship.org There are pictures posted under the warehouse program of the building process for you to view, please feel free to check them out!!! Under the newsletters, our July newsletter is the newest addition. With all the computer issues, I did not get that e-mailed to you all, and again, I apologize for that, but it is available for download and is posted on our website if you would like to do so... July 2004 Edition... The MSF Cookbooks are finally back from the printers, praise the Lord!! The books came out beautifully, and contain recipes from some of our prayer partners and various missionaries serving the Lord around the globe... The cost is $10 for the cookbook and $5 shipping and handling. If you are interested, please send $15 and make any checks payable to Missionary Service Fellowship. Mail to: Missionary Service Fellowship 1128 Pleasant Site Road Selmer, TN 38375 Overall, Jim and I have had a wonderful summer... It has been much work and tough work to get this building project to a bare-bones working environment since this phase of the project began, but God has taught us much over the past six months, and we are excited to be in this new facility with a place to be able to grow and get supplies in that we can make available to ministries as they serve the Lord... It's been a great summer, God has grown us spiritually, and we even have started riding bikes to get in better physical shape ourselves... That's been a fun relaxing time together that we have grown to enjoy... We hope this note finds you well, thank you so much for your continued prayers for us and the ministry... I look forward to being available online more now that my computer is back, and we can be in better touch. For those of you receiving this e-mail in FL, please know that Jim and I are praying for you, our board and our church family are lifting you and the state all up in prayer... Blessings, Tiffany "Do not withhold good from those who deserve it, when it is within your power to act." -Proverbs 3:27 |
