| Dear Friends and Family, Greetings to you all! Hope this note finds you all well, and hope that you are looking forward to your weekend! Just to bring you up to speed on the latest news and prayers- I left for Atlanta last Thursday to take David Thomas down. David is the gentlemen we met in Lynchburg the previous week on our travels. We had gotten him into a place locally, but when the doors opened up for him to go to First Baptist Church Woodstock, we left ASAP. He seems to be doing well down there. Please continue to pray for him. Many thanks to Woodstock for their assistance in getting David the help he needs... I returned from Atlanta on Friday around 4 in the afternoon, and then headed over to East End United Methodist for the Bluegrass concert. We had a wonderful time, the music was great, the testimony was wonderful and the Gospel was shared. Thank you all for your prayers for this event, it went well and raised $420.00. A special word of thanks to New Road and East End United Methodist in Savannah, TN for their contributions to this event: Thanks for a wonderful evening! This week has started off well, we are working with contacts for supplies. This morning we had are our name put on a list for 9 large pallets of small toys. I can think of several teams who could take these with them for orphanages around the globe. There must be hundreds of toys on each pallet, and each item is simply the representation of a child somewhere hearing that Jesus loves them so much that He died for them... I am getting more and more excited!!! Please pray for the contacts we continue to make, and for continued new supplies, and those who will be using the supplies on the field... We have no set delivery date yet on the building, but we know God's timing is everything, it will come right on time! We are also waiting to hear from the backhoe operator for the final grounds work; the ground is still a little wet for him- but again, God's timing is everything. Please pray for the groundwork to be completed soon, and that the building will arrive just after everything is ready! We will be working on setting the concrete forms for the loading dock this week as well, please pray for our safety as that work is completed... Thank you all for all of your prayers for us... We truly appreciate them! Praying each of you will have a wonderful time in fellowship and praising the Lord in your churches this Sunday morning! In Him, Jim |
